Patrick G. Jones has been an attorney for over 35 years and brings a very unique and diverse background to his mediation and arbitration practice. He was a CPA with a Big Eight accounting firm; a partner in three major law firms in Atlanta during his first 17 years in private practice; the General Counsel, CFO and head of investor relations of a public technology company; and the Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Compensation Committee off a private technology company for more than 15 years, until it's sale in 2016 for $400 million. Since leaving the public company in 2003, Pat has been a mediator and arbitrator, specializing in commercial and business disputes, and he also returned to practicing law in 2007. Some of his areas of experience are contract disputes, shareholder lawsuits and other securities claims, business divorces, corporate governance matters, accounting malpractice, valuation issues, intellectual property, noncompete and other employment disputes, probate, real estate, taxation, technology, and trusts and estates. In addition, Pat is one of only a handful of people in the Southeast who has served as a Non-IRS Co-Mediator at the IRS Appeals level.
