Thanks, Pat. Even in the midst of all this contention, I believe we are all in agreement that this is one of the best efforts by a mediator that any of us has ever seen.

In a nutshell, to say that Pat works hard to bring the parties together is an understatement. He is the most conscientious mediator that I have ever encountered. Pat studies the facts, knows the law and is very personable. If the parties are serious about getting their case resolved, Pat is a guy I would highly recommend.

I have mediated with Henning several times in the past, but this was my first mediation with Patrick Jones. He was great. He really took the time to learn what the case was about and the various issues still in contention, which really made the difference in bringing the parties to a negotiated resolution.

Kelly O. Wallace

Wellborn, Wallace & Woodard, LLC

Thank you, Pat, for staying on top of this and providing the necessary finesse to get this settlement wrapped up.

George J. Barry III

In closing, I know this was an extremely difficult negotiation. However, there can be no doubt that you were critical in bringing this matter to a close. In this regard, I offer my thanks and gratitude on behalf of my firm and [our client].

This was a mediation by Pat Jones, who was excellent. He brought his own perspective into play, and was straightforward. He is also continuing to help us reach a resolution.

Pat Jones is a dedicated and results oriented mediator. He makes it his mission to bring the parties to common ground, even when it appears that reaching a mutually agreeable resolution is not an option. I have never witnessed such professionalism and have the utmost respect for him as a person and for his abilities as a mediator.

Susan Stuart

Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele, LLP

Mr. Jones was a wonderful mediator. While this dispute didn’t center around an objectively huge amount of money, Mr. Jones treated it like a multimillion-dollar case. He was exceptionally well-prepared, patient, and diligent. There’s no doubt in my mind that without his assistance, the parties would still be engaged in protracted litigation. We could not have asked for better.

Sarah and I both agree that Pat was a wonderful mediator. He was extremely well-prepared and versed in the issues, astute and even-handed in pointing to the strengths and weaknesses of the parties’ respective cases, more than patient, and adept at negotiating personalities and other ‘soft’ issues that crop up in so many cases. It also didn’t hurt that he struck everyone as a great person in general. We’ve thanked him personally (and sent an e-mail of thanks to the owner of Henning Mediation), and would wholeheartedly recommend him as a mediator.

Pat brought good business sense to the table which became the basis for the settlement. His efforts probably saved my client thousands of dollars in legal fees, and brought a reasonable, practical settlement to the [trademark] dispute. Pat Jones and his business acumen are valuable assets to your mediation group.

Kenneth D. Hale

Hale, Lyle & Russell

Pats selection as the mediator in my accountant malpractice case was the single most significant factor in reaching a settlement. Pats background in tax, accounting, finance and business allowed him to quickly comprehend and evaluate not only the complicated liability issues, but also what damages might realistically be recoverable. Pats calm and caring demeanor, coupled with his business acumen, allowed him to immediately establish credibility with all parties and their attorneys. I would strongly recommend Pat for future mediations.
